4 hours of work

After careful work, i have assembled some facts into the video itself. I began citing sources, as well as looking for facts to put into the video. should be interesting. I put in music, cited my pictures as well.

12/7/09

worked on the video for 3 hours trying to assemble the perfect pictures. I found some background music and used mostly air pollution and water pollution pictures. I found a few good ones for cars, and some of them were humorous yet serious. the background music fits it quite well. I'm going to round up facts to play on the screen during the video.

Project Subject: Air pollution/global warming


Currently, our group of four has dedicated themselves to making a Public Service Announcement. We plan to use one or the other or possibly both of the following options: websites and videos. There is a problem however with the websites, as no one in the group knows how to create a website effectively, or just create one in general. This could be an epic fail.

Espionage

In the news, we see espionage. Some scientist, David Nozette, was selling "classified information" to Israel. This comes as a shock that we would be offended by this seeing as how Israel is an ally, but if secrets fall into the wrong hands it could turn out worse than expected. I have a feeling its more a charge against the monetary value, and not so much in the espionage. The secret information was about our defense tactics, possibly to aid Israel. It's just a wonder how someone with ties like that could be lead into our safest secrets, especially when he is a mole.

Peer Review

The peer review is tool we use to compare our writings to other peers, not harshly, but with a scholarly thought process. The most useful tool here is reading it to your audience. It gives you a sense of how you feel about the paper. My focus becomes more on what they think, then i get nervous, want to stop reading, and re write my paper. In part for the questions, i believe the most important question whether or not the writer has a second thesis. Little to my knowledge, i did not know we needed a second thesis to dissect the book and the song together. Another useful lesson learned today...

Ishmael Beah

When Ishmael Beah arrived to Ball State, i was ecstatic. I read that book with conviction, and i thought to myself, "Who could live with themselves after such tragic events?" I wanted to meet this man, and possibly get some more insite into the other stories that didn't exactly tie into the story, but played a role in his life as well. His stories really were phenomenal. What really got me is when he read the story. You actually felt that he spoke with some conviction. When he read the first excerpt from his book, I realized there that what this guy has gone through was more traumatic then the live's we supposedly feel we can't live through. It really sends a message to those types of people. The best question of the night was if he would rap for us. It would have been a sight to see him rap. He said that he had met up with a long time friend to hang out with and rap again with. That was just a cool feeling to know that you could rekindle an old friendship through someone elses words.

4th post

A sad day today. One of the co-owners for the Nba team, Charlottle Bobcats, has died from a single engine plane crash. It's not the i follow the Bobcats, but its that life keeps getting a little more fragile everyday, and from stuff like that, I start to notice that. Also, as long as i stay out of the skies, i think i'll live to see another day.
