"Brothers Could Be First Death Row Twins
(Sept. 3) — Two 25-year-old brothers
from Orlando, Fla., could become the first
twins in the nation to be sentenced to
death.
“I’ve heard of brothers [on death row], and
I’ve heard of fathers and sons, but not
twins. Never,” said Richard Dieter,
executive director of the Death Penalty
Information Center, told the Orlando
Sentinel. “That would be bizarre, I’d say,
and most probably a first.”
Identical twins Dante and Donte Hall are
accused of killing two people, Anthony
Bernard Blount, 35, and Kison “Little
Mule” Evans, 32. They were shot during a
robbery three years ago at a house party
in Eustis, Fla., the Sentinel said.
Testimony began this week in Dante’s
double-murder trial. Donte was convicted
in April by a separate jury, which voted 8-
4 to sentence him to death. The judge is
not bound by the jury’s recommendation,
but must give it “great weight,” the
newspaper said.
Defense attorneys for Dante have argued
that he was not involved in the homicides
and that “Donte’s crew” is to blame for the
killings. Lawyers for both brothers have
acknowledged the brothers were involved
in dealing drugs, but Dante’s attorneys
maintain that Donte was the violent twin."

A new first in American history. Two brothers, identical twin brothers, were arrested for the crimes they committed 3 years ago. If both are convicted, they could both face the death penalty, making these identical twin brothers the first twins to ever go on death row. Although not a standard I'm sure everyone wants to follow, I'm sure the American public will be fascinated by this scandal brought up in Orlando, Fl. I think American history could go without this scandal on their record books
